Robin Garrison is a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse who has been honored to serve the Maui community as Hospice Nurse since 2013.
Robin recognized a gap in care for those patients who do not have a terminal illness but need comfort care at home. She is looking forward to serving the community as Home-Based Palliative Care Nurse.
Robin is professional, thoughtful, compassionate and dedicated to serving the Maui community.
In addition, Robin is a Street Medicine Nurse Practitioner and has been since 2021. She serves the most vulnerable people in the Maui community by tending to their medical needs. She provides wound care, prescriptions, essential medical services, coordinates care and works with the hospital to keep people out of the emergency room. She also takes referrals from the hospital and provides continuity of care post-discharge to help prevent re-admissions.
Robin treats her clients like she would treat her family members. Everyone, no matter what their circumstances is treated with love and respect. Sometimes a visit is simply listening to a story, holding a hand or silently observing.
